Pittsburgh’s Luma restaurant recently purchased a SIRIUSBusiness package from Applied Media Technologies Corporation (AMTC). Being a SYSCO customer allowed Luma owner Greg Ackerman to take advantage of two of AMTC’s special SYSCO promotions: a $30 rebate on the SIRIUSBusiness equipment kit and a waived $15 activation fee.

 “We like to play the jazz channels offered by SIRIUS, typically Jazz Café in the afternoon and Planet Jazz in the evening. It adds just the right amount of ambiance and energy to our dining area,” Ackerman says. “Our customers expect to enjoy everything about their experience here, and background music is a great way to enhance our theme.”

 Luma previously used another background music vendor, but switched to AMTC’s SIRIUSBusiness service due to its reduced cost and increased reliability.

 “With SIRIUS, we don't experience the service breakups like we did with Comcast,” says Ackerman. “Our cost went down approximately 20 percent, and we are much happier. AMTC’s service has been great, and I'm glad we made the switch. It is really better for everyone—management, employees and customers.”
